Joanna Eden: The Magical Music of Stephen Sondheim

Vocalist and pianist Joanna Eden gives voice to the magical music of the greatest writer and composer of the theatre in the 20^th century, Stephen Sondheim.

Already established as a leading interpreter of the music of Joni Mitchell and Ella Fitzgerald and performing with Jazz At The Movies, Joanna Eden owns up to her passion for musical theatre and treads expertly, the line between jazz cool and heart-filled storytelling.

She brings to this concert her love of the music of ‘The Godfather of Modern Musical Theatre’ Stephen Sondheim, covering work from West Side Story to Into the Woods, via ‘Send In The Clowns’ from a Little Night Music and explores the jazzy side of Sondheim without losing the theatrical truth.
