  • Following his recent highly acclaimed BBC TV performance with comedian Romesh Ranganathan in ‘The Misadventures of Romesh Ranganathan’, Sierra Leonean singer and composer Gwyn Jay Allen returns to Crazy Coqs for a rare and exclusive acoustic performance to promote his new 4 track EP titled ‘The Return’, together with songs from his previously albums.

    A natural-born entertainer, the BAFTA nominated Freetown based multi-instrumentalist has performed to full houses at venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, The Royal Albert Hall, and The Jazz Café, as well as making a stellar performance at Sir Michael Parkinson’s London Palladium show with the 60 piece BBC Concert Orchestra and Big Band.

    Not just loved by British audiences however, Gwyn’s music and personality have seen him garner a following around the world, having toured in New York, Calabar, Paris, Melbourne, Rabat and Marbella. One not to miss – book early!
