Natalie Williams & Jamie Safir: Double Standards

A rare opportunity to hear one of the UK’s finest vocalists paying homage to her first love, the Great American Songbook. MOBO-nominated artist, Natalie is regularly seen at Ronnie Scott’s hosting her Soul Family Sundays (an 18 year residency), guesting with Incognito or as a member of the illustrious Ronnie Scott’s All Stars.

Tonight Natalie is joined by critically-acclaimed jazz virtuoso and much sought-after arranger, Jamie Safir (Will Young, Kylie Minogue, Claire Martin, Ian Shaw) who is a Crazy Coqs favourite for more than 10 years.

The dynamic duo will premiere a brand new programme of songs originating from Broadway, from the 1920s through to the 1960s interwoven with entertaining tales from show-business history. Expect well-known classics from the likes of Porter, Gershwin, Kern and Berlin alongside lesser-known gems from Cy Coleman, Hoagy Carmichael and many more.
