How far in advance can I order a cake?

Once you have made your reservation with us, you can make an order for a cake. As the cakes are bespoke and freshly made in-house, we need at least 72 hours’ notice before your reservation.

Is my order confirmed when I submit the enquiry form?

No, our team will get in touch with you by email or phone to let you know if your order is confirmed and arrange for payment of the cake.  

How do I order a cake?

Please submit our cake enquiry form, once submitted our reservation team will contact you to confirm the details and payment of the cake. Your cake will then be delivered to your table at the time of your reservation with us. 

Are cakes available to take-away? 

The cakes are only available for reservations within Brasserie Zédel. Please book your table here and the celebrate your occasion in style. 

How do I pay for my cake?

Our reservation team will send over a payment link before your booking for payment.  

Do you make any other types of cakes? 

Unfortunately, we can only offer the cakes listed. 

Are any of your celebration cakes nut free? 

Our Victoria Sponge cake can be made nut free but this must be flagged in the order form. Please note, the plaque upon which a personalised message can be written is not nut free, so this will not be available to those with a nut allergy. 

Can you make any of the cakes gluten free?

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer gluten free cakes.  

Which cakes are vegetarian? 

All of the cakes are vegetarian. 

Which cakes are vegan?

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer vegan cakes.  

Can I write a personal message on the cake?

Yes – we can add a bespoke message for you, please specify your message when completing the cake enquiry form. There is no extra charge for this service and the character limit is 25. Please note the plaque contains nuts.

What are the sizes of the cakes?

Our small cakes serve between 6-8 people and are 18cm wide.  

Our large cakes serve between 8-12 people and are 23cm wide. 

Can we bring our own candles to add to the cake? 

Unfortunately, we cannot have any naked flames on the restaurant floor, so we do not allow guests to bring candles for the cakes, nor do we provide any. We do, however, offer personalised messages we can add to the top of the cake.
