  • Arthur Lea makes a rare return from California! To reunite with trio members Pat Levett (drums/harmonica) and
    Christopher Barrett (tuba/FX)…

Professorial piano rolls, second line street beats, subterranean sirens, sparkling harps. Bootleg Trio are dreamers and screamers. Original heartwarming hooks, epic explorations, lullabies of love and protest. Maybe a Waits cover, Dylan reinvention or Prince B-Side? Playful, poignant, sometimes psychedelic, funky, quirky yet catchy. Eclectic folk blues with jazz sensibilities.

Lea sings and plays with soul, whether it’s old RnB, fresh originals, or a classic ballad. A Royal Academy of Music pianist with decades of London gigs and international tours, he has performed everywhere from Ronnie Scott’s to the Olympic Stadium, working with everyone from Kae Tempest to Kylie Minogue.

Pat Levett has played for Tom Jones, Paloma Faith, Tim Minchin, and more.

Christopher Barrett’s many credits include London Philharmonic, Sons of Kemet, and David Gray.
