After his triumphant appearance at Crazy Coqs in March, stand-up cabaret maverick David Mills returns for two nights with a new batch of songs and stories that reflect the head-spinning nature of contemporary life. Trapped in an algorithmic nightmare, we struggle to connect to ourselves and others. Constant disruption keeps us off balance and too often susceptible to the mad theories of guru grifters. Mills toggles between characters, jokes and songs to evoke the modern confusion that seems so endemic in modern life. Perhaps there’s virtue in chaos.
