Her vocal range remains extraordinary as she can embrace, with equal conviction, both quiet whispered tones along with virulent almost strident sounds, when the music demands . Her most recent album “Speak Low” has enjoyed considerable success and high critical aclaim.

Jerome Kern, who composed over 700 songs between 1902 and his passing in 1945, was voted by Congress as “The Father of American Musical Theatre”. Cole Porter, known throughout the music world as the greatest writer of witty and urbane songs, across many busy years until his passing in 1964, wrote music that inspired many successful Broadway shows and memorable Hollywood films. Among his most successful and long lasting compositions are: “Anything Goes”, “Begin The Beguine”, ”I Get A Kick Out Of You”, “Just One Of Those Things”, “Love For Sale”, “Night And Day”, “You Do Something To Me” and “You’re The Tops”.
