  • Show description
  • Elaine Delmar, winner of the Parliamentary Jazz Awards Best Singer in 2013 and most recently 10 years on in 2023, returns to Crazy Coqs, following her several sold-out concerts with the music of George Gershwin, Cole Porter and Jerome Kern, not forgetting her memories of Lena Horne, and collections for her “Musical Bottom Drawer”.

She returns to the EFG London Jazz Festival for this double portion of her Musical Feast, which includes two distinct concerts.

Tuesday, November 19th, 7 pm: “Let Me Sing You A Song”.
Elaine is renowned for her interpretation of a beautiful lyric, and tonight she will be doing what she does best: delving into her huge repertoire of songs to thrill you with familiar favourites and surprisingly little-known gems, accompanied by her outstanding regular trio of Barry Green(piano), Simon Thorpe(double bass) and Bobby Worth(drums).

Saturday, November 23rd, 2 pm: “An Afternoon at Duke’s Place”
Elaine celebrates the epoch-changing songs of the great Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn, featuring the ever-popular saxophone star Alan Barnes, Barry Green(piano), and Dave Green(double bass).

Tickets for the 23rd November show are available here.

Elaine has long been established as a singer of the highest calibre, with a voice, looks, and personality that has captivated world audiences. She’s equally at home, whether entertaining a concert audience or performing in the more intimate cabaret or small theatre settings.

In addition to her many sold-out concerts at Crazy Coqs, her American Song Book presentations sold out at Ronnie Scott’s, the Pheasantry and Piano Smithfield, plus in a spectacular big band show for the London Jazz Festival.
