  • Award-winning NYC singer/pianist Eric Yves Garcia swings back to salute trailblazing women songwriters: Peggy Lee, Billie Holiday, Carole King, Edith Piaf, Joni Mitchell, Dorothy Parker. And of course, the original Jazz Age gangbuster of the boys’ club, Dorothy Fields.

From the Brill Building to Bal-Musette or Broadway, Hollywood to Laurel Canyon, Las Vegas or Harlem, these pioneering women defied barriers and heartache to define their art and to provide the soundtrack to our lives on their own terms. Here’s to their stories and immeasurable contributions to
    popular music!

Eric Yves Garcia is one of the most coveted singer/pianists in NYC. Performer-in-residence at the Two E Lounge of The Pierre Hotel on Fifth Avenue, Garcia’s credits include Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center,
Birdland, 54 Below, Bemelmans Bar and the Café Carlyle. Garcia’s several London engagements include Crazy Coqs and The Pheasantry, and in Paris, a series of week-long runs at Club Rayé.
