  • Francesca Belmonte started her professional career as Tricky’s lead singer in 2008 and has subsequently collaborated with many notable artists, such as The Heavy and Bobby Gillespie. Her love of soul /rhythm and blues led to playing for many years with London soul outfit The Atlantic Soul Orchestra where she met guitarist, George Hume.

Georgie Hume & The Pity Party are a London based trio who’s sound incorporates a blend of early 60s Jamaican jazz, Cuban inspired rhythms alongside the soul of Staz and twang of Bakersfield country, creating a sound being described as ‘Tropical Jazz’.

Their debit EP was released in February 2024, receiving early support from Jazz FM, Soho Radio. Formed in London in 2023, the trio also consisted of Silas Maitland on bass and Loris Peverani on drums.

For one night only, they’re coming together to celebrate their shared love of the country and roots greats of the 50s and 60s, showcasing an authentic take on this wonderful era of Americana music.
