Heidi Vogel Trio

As vocalist for the Cinematic Orchestra for over 15 years and the go-to vocalist for acts such as Thundercat, Soweto Kinch and Chick Corea, Heidi Vogel has long been a critic’s choice for her extraordinary voice and velvet tone. She has appeared live on the Jimmy Kimmel show, at The Royal Albert Hall, the Montreaux Jazz festival and the Sydney Opera House. She has performed and recorded with artists such as ESKA, Cleveland Watkiss and Bobby McFerrin, to name a few. Her solo album on Far Out Recordings sees Heidi explore her passion for Brazilian composers. For tonight’s show, Heidi teams up with Bruno Heinen, one of the best piano players on the London jazz scene, and acclaimed guitarist James Kitchman.

They will be performing a soulful mix of jazz, Brazilian and blues standards made famous by Betty Carter, Ray Charles, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, Nina Simone, Jobim and others.
