  • The Way We Were celebrates the incredible writing partnership of Alan and Marilyn Bergman, composers of countless hits such as The Windmills Of Your Mind, You Don’t Bring Me Flowers, Nice and Easy, What Are You Doing The Rest Of Your Life? and The Way We Were.

The Bergmans collaborated with composers such as Michel Legrand, Quincy Jones and John Williams and wrote for legendary artists such as Barbra Streisand and Frank Sinatra. After Marilyn’s death in early 2022, it seems fitting to acknowledge their extraordinary legacy.

Jo Marshall and her band, (Clive Dunstall – Keys, Sam Burgess – Bass and Mike Smith – Drums) combine the all-time classic arrangements with some dynamic new interpretations that reveal the artistry behind the lyric.

Jo is a celebrated concert artist who recently returned from a best-selling international tour as the soloist on Hans Zimmer’s ‘Gladiator Live in Concert’. She is a former member of Grammy award-winning a cappella group The Swingle Singers and has recorded countless scores for Hollywood films, regularly working at Abbey Road Studios. Jo has performed in many of the world’s most iconic venues, from Ronnie Scott’s to La Scala.
