Kim Criswell, Takin’ Stock 2: 30 Years Upon the Wicked Stages of Europe

Thirty years after her arrival in the UK as Annie Oakley, Kim Criswell continues her 50 year career retrospective. In this sequel to her Crazy Coqs debut in Feb. 2023, she focuses on the lucky, crazy, unexpected opportunities that led to her living and working in the UK, plus travelling all around the globe just to spread a little musical theatre joy.

The 15 year old Kim singing in an Atlanta theme park couldn’t envision leaving Broadway and crossing to London’s West End, but cross she did—and she stayed. The West End was just the beginning: opportunities rarely presented to Broadway babies began to pop up, so of course she said yes first and asked questions later, leaving her with tales to tell of working in some of the most glorious concert halls and theatres in the world alongside world class artists.

You can expect famous songs, infamous songs, ridiculous songs, heartbreaking songs, and brand new-to-you songs. The fabulously talented John G. Smith will be manning the keyboard again as they continue to revisit the ups and downs of a life upon the stage.
