Show Description
We are talking ‘5’ star excellence. Your Song celebrates the songs of Sir Elton John, performed by award-winning musicians, John Reilly (award-winning singer-songwriter) and Lewis Nitikman (award-winning musical director/arranger/composer).
This is not a tribute show but a celebration of excellent, timeless songs, performed from the heart with passion and musical excellence. The show has received much critical acclaim.
John Reilly is amazing in his own right. He was born in Liverpool. He won the British and International Song award. He was signed by Agent/Manager Sam Feldman (who represented Bryan Adams, Diana Krall, and Elvis Costello) resulting in a tour of Canada and the US, where many of his recordings became hit singles.
He opened in concert for major stars, including Bryan Adams,Procal Harum, and the late Ray Charles. His songs were played in movies, and TV shows, including Dawson’s Creek, and Quantum Leap. John returned to the UK where he had a 2500 seater concert sell out, and toured with Ray Davis (Kinks) finishing with a sold out concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
Lewis Nitikman from Vancouver, Canada, was signed by Virgin Records. He released, produced and wrote 3 Canadian Gold winning albums. His album ‘Diamond in the Rough’ spawned 3 hit singles. “Where Is Love” was the 14th most played song in Canada, and the ballad “I Wish There Was A Way” was number 6 in the charts for 10 weeks. His album on Virgin records was inducted into the Canadian museum of music. Lewis has performed and recorded with some of the best songwriters in LA, Nashville and Toronto. He has worked with and has been commissioned by The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. He has recorded and produced various national and regional commercials, including an award winning commercial. Both John and Lewis are also successful songwriters in their own right with their songs being played on BBC radio and on the national playlist, including their single La La La (Bulletproof).
Your Song has been presented across the country, including sell out shows at Sheffield City Hall , The Lamproom Theatre in Barnsley, Alexander’s of Chester, and Acapela Studios in Cardiff, all ending with standing ovations. The show has also sold out the Pheasantry cabaret room in Chelsea. John Reilly and his brilliant Canadian musical director Lewis Nitkman now bring ‘Your Song’ to the heart of London’s West End at the famous Crazy Coqs cabaret room. This will be an evening to remember.
