You’ve Got A Friend: A Celebration of the Music of Carole King and James Taylor

This critically acclaimed show is a celebration of the music of two iconic songwriters and performers, Carole King and James Taylor.

With lots of their compositions, some recorded by them and others that became hit records for other artists, the show is a timeline of their music and contains many backstage stories and anecdotes.

You’ve Got A Friend’ takes the audience on a journey from the early days of Carole’s career, co-writing with her partner Gerry Goffin, to her later work with James Taylor.

Audience members have often commented on the authenticity of renditions, and how it brings back so many memories for them.

The band features: Rebecca Turner (critically acclaimed singer / songwriter, described by the music press as the new Carole King) on keyboard / vocal, Michael Goulding (top session guitarist / George Harrison in The Trembling Wilburys show) on guitar / vocal, Tony Hammond on bass guitar, and Howard Tibble (who was 30 years with the legendary Shakin’ Stevens Band) on drums.
